To my English teacher who obediently lifted her skirt
As a Westerner with a background in humanities and the arts, I am always fascinated by other cultures and their unique ways of expressing themselves. Recently, I came across a short video vlog on TikTok featuring a popular influencer known as "Tangxin" or "Sugar Heart." Her stage name is Yuzu Cat in English. She caught my attention with her cute and playful style, but what really intrigued me was a video in which she imitated a young child, running around and saying "nouuuu, nouuuu."
The Innocence of Childhood
Watching that video, I was reminded of just how innocent and pure children can be. They are not yet burdened with the cares and responsibilities of adulthood, and they approach the world with an open mind and a sense of wonder. It's a beautiful thing to see, and it's something that we sometimes lose sight of as we get older.
The Power of Imagination
One of the things I love about children is their boundless imagination. They can create entire worlds in their minds, and they are not afraid to explore and experiment. As adults, we sometimes lose that creative spark, but we can learn a lot from children in this regard.
